  1. hi are all the is300 diffs the same? i mean there are automatiks and manual transmissions. the 3,7 diff sounds like a good upgrade for the is200. Then you will have longer gears. Is it a torsen diff?
  2. I have a 155mm pulley and i have a gates belt 5pk840
  3. hi if you go fully de-cat you can use one of these foor the third 02 sensor: http://fullcartuning.nl/blox-racing-check-engine-light-eliminator-adapter I have a full stainless de-cat exhaust system on my car with this o2 sensor adaptor and have no check engine light. I have been driving with this adaptor for more then 1,5 year with no problem
  4. I have the same kind of problem. When i drive the car at exact 60kmh i hear a little whining sound. Only at 60 kmh. In every gear even when the car is rolling 60 kmh and it is not in any gear. When the car is warm you dont hear the sound. I was thinking of the drive shaft bearing in the middle of the car.
  5. yes i meant 15000km offcourse. thanks changed it to 15000
  6. hi all A friend of mine had the same problem. Oil pressure light was on and in the end we needed to replace the engine because the crankshaft bearings were gone because the oil pressure was too low. The problem started after he changed oil. Because he bought the car and it was long ago that the car had an oil change. I removed the oil pump. The pump itself was good but the problem was the Oil pressure valve. ( überdruck Ventil mit Teilnummer -15131, -15132, -15133,-15134,) It was stuck in the oil pump case and i needed to get an hammer to get it out. Das Uberdruck ventil needs to open and close smooth. This part is needed to get more and less oil pressure. It should open and close easely. This is why it is so important to change oil every year or every 15000 km. The car from the friend of mine didnt have an oil change in the past 4 years and now the Oil pressure valve was stuck in the case.
  7. ps found some diagnoses procedures of the knock sensors. might be useful http://lexus.solar3.eu/rm/rm684e/m_di_0078.pdf
  8. hmm interesting topic. I used to drive with the 145mm pulley and 1zzfe green injectors. The ones that Oedipus bought from me. I also had ik22 spark plugs and bigger intercooler. My air fuel ratios were pretty good. they were 11.5 near the rev limit. But with the 145 mm pulley i only had 0,5 bar boost. With no air leaks. I did not do the intake valve modification when i had the 145mm pulley. How come he has 0.6 bar boost with the 145mm pulley. Is that because of the modification in intake? Is that why the engine failed?
  9. I havent tested the oem setup but the valve is there for a reason. In oem setup you get slightly better torque below 4200rpm with the valve closed that is because you have longer runners with the valve closed. and the valve opens above 4200 rpm. So then you have shorter runners wich is better in the higher rpms. If you have an oem engine you better leave it for what it is.
  10. hi i got an answer to this. I did some research about this and after that i tested this on the dyno. If you have an oem engine without turbo or supercharger, the best thing is to leave this valve for what it is. but when it tested this with my supercharger on the dyno it is best to fix this valve to permanent open. You will see a small increase in torque around 4300 rpm when you have the valve permanent open. Also noticed a small increase in boost. With the oem setup i had 0,5 bar and with the valve permanent open i had 0,6 bar with the supercharger. see here on my dynosheet. notice the small dip on the blue line. this is with the valve in oem setup. On the red line you see a small peak torque around 4250rpm. This is with the valve open.
  11. I have a 145mm pulley and 1zzfe injectors for sale. It is a direct fit and will run very nice. I can also supply the right belt with it. Send me a message if you are interested
  12. I had my car on the dyno when i had the 130 mm pulley and de cat exhaust and ik22 spark plugs. I had 211 hp and 0,38 bar pressure I used a blackbox from patrick lindblom.
  13. Nice founds! The last link with the injectors are the ones dimis is using on his car. The toyota part number is 23250 28080 or 23209 28080
  14. hi I have a 155mm pulley wich i have a 5pk840 fitted. fits perfect
