tuning the IS300 2JZ-GE

Ich bekomm hin und wieder ein mail von der site, doch diesesmal war da was anderes mitdabei. es geht wohl um den IS300 und Octane, aber mehr versteh ich nicht,ich post es einfach mal! wär toll wenn wer mehr drüber erzählen könnte!

Octane Issues

When considering tuning the IS300 2JZ-GE for boost remember to factor in

gasoline octane, there are some variables that you should consider.

Here's the rundown:

* A higher compression ratio requires higher-octane fuel.

* More spark advance requires higher-octane fuel.

* Lower humidity requires higher-octane fuel.

* Higher altitude allows the use of lower-octane fuel.

* Leaning of the air/fuel ratio requires the use of higher-octane

fuel.

E-Manage Wiring

Pro Lex Performance E-Manage Installation for 2001 IS300

Rotary Switch Settings (remove cover to access):

sw1 = 6

sw2 = 2

sw3 = 5

Jumper Settings:

jp1 1+2

jp2 2+3

jp3 1+2

jp4 none

jp5 none

jp6 none

jp7 1+2

1) Connect the RED wire to battery positive at the ECM connector E3 pin

16 (black / red stripe)

2) Connect the BLACK wire to the signal ground at the ECM connector E6

pin 17 (brown)

3) Connect the GRAY wire to throttle position sensor ECM connector E6

pin 23 (white / red stripe)

4) Cut the MAF sensor signal wire leading to the ECM E6 pin 10 (green /

black stripe)

5) Connect the WHITE wire to the wire (green / black stripe) leading to

the MAF Sensor

6) Connect the GREEN wire to the wire (green / black stripe) leading to

the ECU

7) Connect the BROWN wire the RPM signal at the ECM connector E7 pin 25

(black / blue stripe)

8) Cut the igniter channel 1 wire leading to the ECM connector E7 pin 11

(gray / black stripe)

9) Connect the BLUE / WHITE wire to the wire (gray / black stripe)

leading to the ECM

10) Connect the BLUE / BLACK wire to the wire (gray / black stripe)

leading to channel 1 igniter

11) Cut the igniter channel 2 wire leading to the ECM connector E7 pin

12 (black / red stripe)

12) Connect the ORANGE / WHITE wire to the wire (black / red stripe)

leading to the ECM

13) Connect the ORANGE / BLACK wire to the wire (black / red stripe)

leading to channel 2 igniter

14) Cut the igniter channel 3 wire leading to the ECM connector E7 pin

13 (black / yellow stripe)

15) Connect the YELLOW / WHITE wire to the wire (black / yellow stripe)

leading to the ECM

16) Connect the YELLOW / BLACK wire to the wire (black / yellow stripe)

leading to channel 3 igniter

so das war das...was auch immer das werden soll!

Es geht um Oktanzahlen bei prolex getunten Fahrzeugen sowie das e-Manage. Das ist ne Art programmierbare ECU und wie sie angeschlossen werden muss.

hat also eher was mit Motor zu tun
