I’m glad the RC F and I got a second chance. This time, the romance is definitely on. It’s not quite as hardcore as the German competition, but the Trans Am was never quite a match for the IROC-Z around a racetrack, and I didn’t care about that either. The Lexus is very good on a track and simply brilliant away from it. Call it the finest Japanese ponycar in history, and one that deserves a second look from you as well.

And the latest example of that comes from Ben Collins (those of you who have been watching TV from under a rock should know he's the ex-Stig). The Brit has recently pulled off a drifting comparison involving the F word.

No, after two days’ driving I’m coming to a conclusion that even I didn’t expect: nothing ticks all the boxes quite like the Lexus. The RCF’s gearbox can’t compete with the M4’s techno masterpiece, it could be lighter and it could be cheaper, but I find it seriously engaging.
