  1. Hello Alex , thank you for that clarification. Sometimes, in the net, are useful tips but also completely false, like the new software to have 200 HP. My doubts were generated by the fact that my mechanical has always argued that there is no software upgrade of the ECU. To solve the problem of turbo-lag I have already purchased a performance kit kW-system. Of course, to equal engine, a avensis works better thanks to the reduced weight compared to Is220d. Sergio :)

  3. Thank you IS200 in Le , but the Hopa Leistungsteigerung is a performance kit as that of kW-systems ,that have purchased from a little. In the forum is specific, precisely, of a new software that will be downloaded in ecu of Toyota engines from 177 HP. Therefore it would be a completely updated borne of Toyota.
  4. Hello people. In an italian site appeared the news of a beta version of software for the ECU, only to engines Toyota D-CAT with 177 HP ( Auris Avensis Corolla Verso Rav4.). I would like to a question: With my IS220d arrived without problems to 50.000 km before finding an abnormal behaviour of the engine. up to 3000 rpm little torque and nothing turbo! The problem, the valve EGR blocked and pipes encrusted. :blink: Someone has already done the upgrade of the ECU and EGR? It was a simple thing or your mechanical invented stories for not doing it? My claims that the upgrade of ECU does not solve the turbo-Loch, and it is an amendment to do only on reporting by Lexus. :shocking: To you is exact this statement?   6. Hi people, a new question from Italy. I have contacted KW-Systems for their performance kit to climb on on my IS 220d. Besides the various connectors , a thread must be connected to the throttle potentiometer. Does someone know which the thread of the signal is, where to make the connection? Normally the functions are: Ground / Signal / Power. Does someone know the products KW-Systems ? I hope in a new help. :offtopic: :tomato: Gruß Sergio

  8. Hi, another question from Italy. I want to replace the discs brake of my IS220d, before climbing on a performance kit of the TTE. I find only kit Brembo, excellent but too much expensive. However the whole kit that I have found they are for the IS200/300/Altezza. Has someone already made this change, or can give me some links to find material out Italy?   9. Thanks for the help. Unfortunately the accessories for the serious ISX50 are not usable for the IS220d. The strut bar for the ISX50 passes above the cork of the oil of the diesel motor. I have contacted TDI-PLC.com, known through Your forum, they have answered that in 2007 will be available strut bar and suspension kit for the IS 220d. All it takes is waiting. Kind regards Sergio

  12. I have tried to switching the buttons of the inside (door, on / off) personal lights, but nothing doesn't happen. Do you think that, having a Lexus IS220d, can miss a fuse in comparison to the IS sport? For safety I have gotten off the sill plate. The cable is that white / blue (only), therefore I should not have commit errors.   13. Hi SnaKe, writes from Italy. I have read your Post and, after having visited the site Sewell, I have ordered 2 illuminateds sill plate. I have a Lexus IS220d and the lights they don't ignite. I have not understood of what cables you speak if you don't have a Lexus IS 220 sports. I have connected the cable of the new sill plate to a present connector under the old plate.It was the only present free connector. Do you think that has committed some error or it serves me your info on the cables? Best regards

  15. I have had a contact email with TTE.They have informed me that the performance kit for IS220d is under development and unfortunately we won't introduces it before spring 2007.
  16. Hi jens , thanks for the link. I have given a fast look to the products TRC , but also they don't have exhaust for the diesel one. My mechanic (Lexus) has told that the exhaust of the Is250 cannot be climbed on because the diesel has the filter for the thin dusts. Climbing on the exhaust for gasoline the parameters CO2 they would be wrong. Have I found, in an Italian site, the publicity of a society (German? Fun Tech Autozubehor Discount) that builds exhaust for a specific car confirming her TUV. Do you have the possibility to give me the link of this firm? The springs kit H&R is too much binding (-45mm). I thought to a -30mm. What I don't find they are the dampers. Springs without dampers it would not be a good job. Thanks for now Sergio

    tuning my IS 220d

    Hi, I write from Italy to have help. Excuse for my approximate English! I would want to make some tuning to my Is 220d, but in Italy few products are found for this car. They are found springs Eibach but any damper or any coilovers Damper Kits. For the motor I thought about the tuning TTE 220PS installing the differential of the IS 220d Sport. I would want to install the double exhaust of the IS250, model Tamabe Medalion Touring, but he is built for motor gasoline and not diesel. Can someone help me? Best Regards :thumbdown:
