yesterday i drove the new IS at louwmann`s in Raamsdonksveer at the official introduction. Very beautifull looks was the first thing that took me. I was glad that the drive wasn`t a big difference. It`s faster and it has better road stability.It steers like it`s glue`d to the road I don`t like the ``lazy`` flippers, put it on a ferrari then it works, otherwise don`t do it unless the car is really fast and the flippers react instantly. The finishing of the lex is perfect also the audio and beautifull seats and leather. I also prefer line 6 engine over V6 (sound).

I`ve tested it like you guys said and I`ve got alarm on the Lex! Thanks!It`s not a very loud siren but it works.

They sticked the scm alarm notifying stickers on the windows, so I think so. Thanks all for your reactions.

When I push the lock button on my key the doors lock and the signals flash one time, if I then push the lock button again, you hear a locking sound again and the signals flash five times, the doors stay locked. Does anybody know why this is? Maybe alarm activation or is the car telling me by flashing five times that it`s already locked??

I`ve bought a grille last week from internet, because i wanted a black new model grille, only it`s slghtly damaged on the interior part.It`s more than good to use but my old one is like new so i don`t want to fit a grille that`s lees good. Maybe somebody want`s it or needs one to make a special grille.The lexus sign and chrome is perfect, small damaging of center paint. If you want it make me an offer please. that`s true psaiko, but I think you have to put the wax on at least once ayear and then during the year use good wax shampoo`s to keep it in perfect shape and gloss.

How can you see it`s not a sport?

hello everybody, I`m Joep from holland and I`m looking for an is200 sport with leather and manual gearbox. Yesterday I found a really nice one here in holland with full options, dark gray metallic with creme leather. Only now I have a question, Last week I went to the Lexus dealer and he told me that the 99 is was not available in dark grey, now I`m confused and thinking that maybe the car I found is painted over, does anybody know about this?? Also the car didn`t have metal pedals, everything else was as it`s supposed to be on a sport, like the good audio system with bigger speakers etc. What do you think, Thanks for your effort!
