Lexus IS350 so far in USA testing had slightly worse braking distances than competition (but still better than most new cars on the road). GS for instance had better. Most people thought it was due to eco-tires. New Toyota's brake well - Auris brakes better than Golf VII, but thats NOT important :-)

hello friends, i was told that IS300h will have 240hp, and cost 37k in Germany, while IS250 will be 32k, from my friends at regional HQ that went prototype testing... i would assume same engine will come to GS... Apparently it is not the same as in Camry or ES300h. I also had a chance to drive GS250, and it is way too slow... I had GS350 before, and drive IS220d now. GS250 is a skip :)

so far, nothing but these two... no diesels either. Should be at dealers by 03/2012.... not that far away!

both IS250 and IS300h in Germany, 32k Euro vs 37k Euro in Germany. IS300h with 240hp. Better handling than new GS. How does that sound my german friends? :-)

Stellungnahme: - GS300 für 23k Euro. - Für 20k Euro IS220d. Gleiche Kilometerstand - 100.000 km für beide, GS 2007 ist, ist IS220d 2008. Ich bin besorgt über die zukünftige Wiederverkaufswert des GS und Differenz des Kraftstoffverbrauchs insgesamt. Gibt es eine? (20.000 km / Jahr) :-). ------------- Opinion: - GS300 for 23k Euros. - IS220d for 20k Euros. Same mileage - 100,000km for both, GS is 2007, IS220d is 2008. I am concerned about future resale value of GS and difference in fuel consumption overall. Is there any? (20,000km/year) :-).

additionally - is AVS standard? I saw no comfort/normal/sports switch? Seller says it is "Luxury" but it has not all of the Luxury equipment so I am not sure if AVS for standard for 2007. In US, it was not standard and I didnt have it at all (not possible to order in GS350).

Hi everyone... I imported GS350 AWD back in 2007 to Europe and drove it for 3 years... loved the car, zero issues. I had to return the lease due to moving to another country (and importing car is 100% in taxes/duties). Now that I am settled, I am looking at 2007 GS300 RWD. Does anyone have list of TSB's to check at? Car bumper and lower side of the door needs to be painted from chips and small bruises but overall it looks fine. Interior is MINT - seats are better held up than my own GS :-). Oh, and wheels are corroded. Idiot that drove it before didnt get warranty on wheels nor did they fix chips (they had full insurance due to lease). However small concern was that carpets were slightly damp. Car doesnt look flooded or anything, everything works fine with electronics and engine compartement doesnt look to be touched ever. What could it be other than someone spilling something in the interior? I read on the thread that some part of the AC system failed for someone and caused similar issue (car has been at dealer for 3 months). any ideas? otherwise, a bit of paint and car will be mine :-). honestly, i thought i would get 530xd, but i have been looking at them and are pretty concerned about their long term reliability... none of the interiors i checked have held up remotely close to this GS. This is old news... yesterday at press conference they said 70% already in June, WORLDWIDE. For USA, 8 models will be in 100% production from June, only Rav4 is at 25% and RX at 70%. Japanese work fast :-)

Ich finde ihre Testergebnisse seltsam: - CT200h Bremsen viel besser? Auch wenn es etwas schwerer, "sollten" verwenden dieselben Bremsen? - CT200h viel langsamer ist, zu viel angesichts der geringen Gewichts Unterschied? - Aber sie verbrauchen die gleiche, was verständlich ist? Das Einzige, was Sinn macht ist, dass sie Basis Prius getestet mit 15 "Rädern, die sollte eigentlich schneller, weil es viel weniger Gewichte werden .... aber 17 "-Version mit einem Viele Geräte nicht. Überprüfen Sie den Unterschied in der Handhabung? 0.86g 0.76g vs und 63,2 Stundenmeilen vs 59,1 Stundenmeilen.
