Hallo SC-Treiber,

hat jdm Erfahrungen mit PiggypackLösungen von HKS, speziell dem F-Con?

Ausserdem interessiert mich eine Auspuffanlöage inklusive Downpipe - Hat irgendein Soarerfahrer mit dem 2,5 TT hier schon etwas gemacht?

Hi.

The PFC Fcon actually pre-dates the Power FC by quite a few years! It is no longer sold.

It is a fuel only piggyback ECU. They are programmed by swapping over PROM's on the mainboard and therefore are not user programmable. Combined with the HKS FCD and the pressure sensor they could get around fuel cut limits. Some Japanese shops could also write custom ROM's I believe (for bigger injectors etc), and HKS sold ROMs for various staged upgrades on certain engines. The GCC adds basic fuel trimming capabilities at various rev points.

Back in 2001 I noticed quite a few of these for coming up for sale cheap, so I spoke to HKS Europe to find what they thought of them. I was told quite categorically by one of their technical guys that had come over from Japan "don't bother". The main reason being that there was no easy way to tell the engine spec the ROM was written for on a used one, and that probably no-one over here would be able to re-program it.

In any case having no timing control is a fairly big limitation. So yep, and Emanage Ultimate or Power FC etc will be a far better choice.

Hi, das ganze interressiert mich auch.. aber ich hab schon den F-con schon in ne eagle talon tsi gehabt.. und es war schwer die passende sensoren zufinden, und der wagen lief auch nicht so toll damit..da der rom schon gebrannt war müsste ich mit hilfe eines Safc solange herum machen bis der einiger maßen lief.

Ne kumpel hat ne power Fc in seinen r33 gts und .. schlechtes hab ich nicht gehört.. außerdem bekommt man den power Fc für den soarer noch.. und da der Euro gut steht..sollst du zugreifen.

Hallo Raph,

hab das FCON + GCC von HKS, habs aber noch nicht abgestimmt, mach noch mit dem BC rum... :(

Auspuffanlage ist ne leegeräumte Jasma "HKSlegal" - was immer das heisst, downpipe hol ich im winter aus downunder, dann noch egt + lambda rein. Derzeit reisst er immer in den Fuelcut, da der Abgasgegendruck wohl zu niedrig ist und die Lader spoolen wie sau, krieg ich aber mit dem bc in den griff.
