Pobleme am Kompressor im UK-LOC

Im UK-LOC is ein Problem aufgetreten.

Schrauben lösen sich

Dabei haben sich die 3 kleinen silbernen Schrauen auf der Riemenscheibe des Kompressors gelöst. Resultat ist dass die Magnetkupplung öffnet und der Kompressor nicht mehr angetrieben wird.

Empfohlen wird, die 3 Schräubchen mit Schraubensicherung gegen losdrehen zu sichern.

Hinterher stellte sich raus dass die Schrauben abgeschert waren! Aber ich denke es wäre nicht schlecht wenn man es bei sich trotzdem machen würde. Wenn die Schräubchen nämlich sich lockern, dann reissen sie auch eher ab, weil die ganze Konstruktion ja dann SPiel bekommt. Hoffe das wird bei keinem mehr passieren.

nein, das ist es ja gerade - da wurde nichts geändert.

die pfeifen von tte drehen bei ihrem kit einfach drei schrauben durch die metallkupplung, damit der kompressor _immer_ an den riemenantrieb gekuppelt ist.

normalerweise ist bei dem eaton-kompressor vorgesehen, dass elektronisch angesteuert entkuppelt wird bei standgas, denn im standgas muss der kompressor ja nicht unbedingt arbeiten, bringt ja nichts.

zumindest hat das wohl mercedes bei den modellen so gemacht, bei denen sie den s/c damals eingesetzt haben.

keine ahnung, warum sich die schrauben lösen. sitzen eigentlich recht fest.

wenn man die riemenscheibe am kompressor genau anschaut, also zwischen kompressor und der scheibe, dann sieht man ganz, ganz kurze kleine kabel-/drahtreste - hier hat tte wohl einfach den elektrischen anschluss zwecks entkuppelung abgezwickt. :thumbup:

Hy, das Problem ist nicht neu und wurde bereits vor ca. 1 jahr schon mal diskutiert.

Es gibt von TDI und evtl. auch von Prolex dazu ein upgrade.

Oder ihr macht es selber......aufbohren und ein größeres Gewinde rein.....

hmm... ich meine, mal was von über 100 pfund gelesen zu haben bzgl. dieses "reliability upgrades".

ich würd daher sagen: lieber selber machen... :thumbdown:

hi guys,

I have the problem with the kompressor on the UK site..... On page 2 is the photo..... you will see that the 3 bolts have sheared / broken- this means that I will have to drill the screws out and then use larger bolts.

If you look at the 3 bolts on the front of the compressor they are used to transfer the load from the pulley to the compressor shaft.

It also means that the plastic cover is transfering the load - which is not very good!

Hi Mate,

long time since we spoke....... my kit was standard with no modifications. I believe the screws became loose and then because they were loose the bolts sheared.

Perhaps it is possible to replace the plastic cover with one made of aluminium?

I don´t know, never opened the clutch. Problem seems to be the fit of the shaft. Have to convert it out from the plastic to the new plate made of metal.

Tomorrow i will have a look on my pulley for precaution...

that is my plan - I would like to make a new cover in aluminium but as you have said the problem might be the shaft........ I will also put larger bolts in the pulley maybe 5mm or 6mm

I am going to England tomorrow for 3 weeks so will repair my Kompressor when I get back to CH.

When I make a new cover I will show you the photos.

I advise everyone to check the pulley on the Kompressor.

The "Plastic Cover" is a flexible disc, with "Uni-Damp" written on it.

That suggests it's a vibration-damper. It may mean that if you bolt on something more rigid, comfort may suffer.

On mine it's fastened with 3 Torx screws, and they're still tight (30.000km). :cheers:
